WebMay 17, 2016 · I called fitech they told me once IAC is set correctly cold starts and other problems should be good. It worked ! this is what i did. 1. Get eng to operating temp. 2. make small adjustments to front and back idle screws. Try to adjust the them evenly (Less the 1/8th turn adjustments) while eng is running. 3. Verify tps is zero when idling. 4. WebJan 17, 2024 · The Fitech system works pretty well, my brother runs one on his early Bronco off road machine, but he switched to it as the vehicle is often at crazy angles where carbs stop working well. It does a great job automatically keeping the afr where it needs to be, but it's not cheap. Have you spent much time tuning the carburetor? I'd try that first.
