WebJul 25, 2010 · I seem to have a problem with my ports, I am a web developer and use Xampp which uses http://localhost = port:80 but every time I start my apache server it doesn't start and gives me an error, the error I found out is that the port the apache needs to use port:80 is being used by another application. Webnetstat -a -b will show all listening ports and the executable name (rather than just the PID).
